The two-year PGPM course of IIM Trichy is divided into six terms. Hence, there are three terms in one year of the programme. The first year curriculum has core subjects. Yes, IIM Trichy offers doctoral-level programme in Management. Candidates seeking admission to the programme need to take the IIMB entrance test. Additionally, the apirants with a valid score of GMAT/CAT/GRE/UGC-JRF can also apply for admission. The candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility requirements can apply. Further, the application can be submitted in online mode. 

The total tuition fee for DPM course of IIM Trichy is INR 10 lakh. It is excluding the accommodation and food fee. Moreover, the institute allow candidates to pay the fee amount in four installments. The mentioned fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is however, still subject to changes and hence, is indicative. 

IIM Trichy admit candidates to the DPM programme based on merit in the IIMB test. The test for the 2024-25 batch was conducted in two rounds. As per the official website, the second round was held on Feb 2, 2025. Moreover, the registration deadline for the second round was Jan 24, 2025.

IIM Trichy insists on regular and prompt attendance in classes. Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions required in every course. The PGPBM Office keeps a record of attendance in all courses. However, students will be permitted to miss classes for unavoidable reasons (including personal and official reasons) up to one-fourth of classes conducted in that course.

If a student happens to miss an examination due to unforeseen reasons, make-up examinations will be permitted for a maximum of two academic terms provided the reasons are genuine, and evidence for the same has been produced.

According to the IIM Trichy admission criteria 2024, the minimum CAT percentile required for interview call is 94 for General category students.Considering the previous year cutoff trends, the estimated CAT 2023 cut off percentiles for IIM Trichy will range between 94 and 95 for the General category students. On the basis of IIM admission criteria 2023, IIM Trichy qualifying CAT cutoff 2022 was 93 for the General category students.

Candidates will be shortlisted for a Personal Interview based on their CAT, GMAT or written test scores as applicable. Yes, candidate can get into IIM Trichy at 70% in Class 12. But mere 12th marks are not sufficient for MBA admission. Therefore, candidate must attain the neccessary percentile. IIM Trichy CAT Cutoff 2024 has not yet been released. Looking at the Cutoff ranks for the past 3 years, the CAT Cutoff percentile is expected to be 90-95, for the General AI category candidates.
