Hi there, you need to score overall more than 95 percentile in CAT to get a call from any IIM and that includes all the baby IIMs also.

Though SOM is much higher in ranking, placements, as well as legacy, an absolute comparison between two colleges is generally a bad idea. You have to decide what you want from your MBA and which school is better equipped to give you that.
