For admission to IIM Visakhapatnam for the flagship MBA (or PGP) course, the result of CAT 2024 is expected to be declared by the third week of December 2024. The institute released the provisional CAT 2024 answer key on December 3, 2024 and the last date to raise objection was December 5, 2024. However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for IIM Visakhapatnam admission.

IM Visakhapatnam MBA admission dates for 2025 is out for the Post-Graduate Program in Management for the Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions of National Importance (PGPMCI) course. Candidates can refer for below dates for admission:

IIM Vishakhapatnam admission to the EMBA programme is based on entrance examination. For admission to the EMBA programme offered at IIM Visakhapatnam, candidates must appear for EMAT followed by Personal Interview (both conducted in online mode). Candidates who may have appeared for CAT/ GRE/ GMAT and have valid test score can be exempted from appearing in EMAT.

Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP) is the flagship course offered by IIM Visakhapatnam. IIM Visakhapatnam offers various postgraduate and doctoral programmes such as PGP, PGPEx, PGPDGM, EMBA, PhD and MGNF. PGP is the flagship course offered by the institute. IIM Visakhapatnam's Post Graduate Programme for Experienced Professionals (PGPEx) is a course for working professionals. The candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of three years of full-time work experience after their qualifying degree. Applicants require a valid CAT, GMAT, GRE score to be considered for admission. IIM Visakhapatnam offers various courses under PG and doctoral level. The Institution offers a total of five main courses across multiple specialisations and various certification courses as well. PGPM, PGPEx, PGPDGM, EMBA are the flagship courses. Dcotoral level programme like PhD are offered in various specialisation including, Decision Sciences, Economics, Finance & Accounting.
