For admission to MBA course at IIM Vizag, candidate must fulfil the minimum educational requirements. To be eligible for this course, aspirants must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate. However, Admission to the MBA course is completely entrance-based. While a CAT score of 90 percentile may qualify you for consideration at IIM Visakhapatnam, it does not ensure admission because competition is fierce and the final selection process takes into account a variety of variables. For admission to IIM Visakhapatnam for the flagship MBA (or PGP) course, the result of CAT 2024 is expected to be declared by the third week of December 2024. The institute released the provisional CAT 2024 answer key on December 3, 2024 and the last date to raise objection was December 5, 2024. However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for IIM Visakhapatnam admission.

To qualify for IIM Visakhapatnam admission to the MBA programme, CAT is mandatory. So getting into IIM Visakhapatnam without CAT is not possible. Overall candidates need to acquire a valid CAT score in order to apply to PGP or MBA programme.several IIMs offer MBA programs that do not require the CAT exam.
