nit surathkal and iit bhubaneshwar are similar in comparison but from quora and other i haven't got the same impression so what you suggest?

NIT-K (Surathkal) is better in terms of placements than IIT Bhubaneswar. Recently IIT Bhubaneswar might get some good placements but NIT-K is much older and have more connections.

Aerospace will provide you with more opportunities abroad but ECE will give you loads of opportunities in India itself. Though the thing to consider here is that, IIT Kharagpur is an old IIT & much more established than any of the new IITs which will very much be visible during placements and in other avenues. Please decide accordingly.

That is up to you. Brand name plays an important role. But make sure that the faculty members are good. NIT, Trichy is the best amongst all NITs. Also, it stands at the same level of new IITs.

Excellent facilities of hostel are therr in IIT Bhuvneshvar, with all amenities of 3 times food, stay, laundry!
Sports also have great role in hostel of IIT Bhuvneshvar.

There are four hostels for the students of IIT Bhubaneswar. They are:

Subarnarekha Hall of Residence: Girls Hostel
Mahanadi Hall of Residence, Brahmaputra Hall of Residence and Subarnarekha Hall of Residence: Boys Hostel

All hostels have gym facilities and they are all filled with general amenities.

Hostels have courts for basketball, volleyball, badminton and table tennis.
Each room is provided with essential amenities, such as a study table, chair and a cupboard.
The hostel has 24*7 Internet facilities through LAN and Wi-Fi.
Common rooms have a small library (other than academics) and lab for using high-speed internet.

Old 5 IITs > NIT TRICHY > New IITs.
If you get at any of these 5 IITs then that should be your 1st preference:
BOMBAY
DELHI
MADRAS
KANPUR
KHARAGPUR
If you dont get in the above then join NIT TRICHY.
Let kme tell you that NIT TRICHY is better than all the new IITs.
So, I would recommend you to think on similar lines and decide as to what combination might work out the best for you. One thing I would strongly advise is not to make decisions based on emotions or attachments related to an institute, parents (with reference to staying near them) or friends.
