IIT Bhubaneswar is a second-generation IIT. IIT Bhubaneswar has been ranked by various international and national ranking bodies. The institute is ranked 39 in the Engineering category by the NIRF 2025. The university was established in 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, as one of the eight new IITs. Candidates should secure more than 90 percentiles to get admission to IIT Bhubaneswar for all undergraduate (UG) courses. In terms of ranks, students should get a rank below 2,500 in order to secure a seat at IIT Bhubaneswar. JoSAA has released the final cut-off rank for 2023 for all the UG courses offered at IIT Bhubaneswar. In Round 6, BTech CSE was the top course with the highest rank of 3101. Candidates can check the JoSAA 2023 R6 closing ranks (CRs) on JoSAA's official website.

According to NIRF ranking NIT Trichy is the best choice but if you want the tag line I. e; IITian then go for IIT Bhubaneswar. But best choice will be NIT Trichy, CSE. You'll never regret joining NIT Trichy. It's average package for CSE is also good and ranges from 17-24 LPA.
You'll get a lot of opportunities in NIT Trichy to express yourself, expose yourself and develop yourself. You'll find a lot of platforms which are led by the students itself which gives you opportunity to explore yourself and launch yourself.
