The cutoff ranks for BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIT Bhubaneswar - Indian Institute of Technology other than the General category are - 1701 for OBC, 1090 for SC, 390 for ST, 662 for EWS, 178 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The cut-off was 4571 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIT Bhubaneswar - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in the general category under the All India quota, 6884 was the closing rank. BTech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the general category under All India, the opening rank was 6257 and the closing rank was 6631. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of the home state. In All India, the opening and closing rank for female candidates was 9619 and 10729. Admission to BTech in Electrical Engineering at IIT Bhubaneswar - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying for while checking for cut-offs.

The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Bhubaneswar has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 12483. In 2022, it increased to 14224. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 4487 to 4961 for OBC, 2386 to 2375 for SC, 796 to for ST, 1691 to 1982 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for Engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cutoff trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories, however, the ranks are slightly different.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category candidates under All India, opening rank was 9322 and closing rank was 11159. Cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In all India category, the opening and closing rank for female candidates was 16422 and 16897. Admission to BTech in Mechanical Engineering + M.Tech in Mechanical System Design at IIT Bhubaneswar is based on the scores obtained in the JEE entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
