MTech admissions at IIT Indore require students to have a four-year bachelor's degree or a five-year integrated degree with first division (as defined by the awarding institute/ university for Indian applicants and equivalent for international applicants) in a relevant stream. While admissions are based on entrance exams such as GATE + COAP Counselling.

The M.Tech course at IIT Indore costs INR 1.56 lakh. Students must pay an additional fee for the accommodation and supplementary facilities. The MSc course lasts two years. GATE, JEE Main, and JEE Advanced are all acceptable as entry exams. In addition, students must meet the admission requirements. For IIT Indore M.Tech admissions, candidates must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate.
