Admissions at IIT Indore are based on entrance exams such as JEE Main/JEE Advanced and JoSAA Counselling which have different cutoffs according to category. OBC Category students should aim for a score/rank between 571-4383 in the first round. Two competitive BTech specialisation streams such as Computer Science and Engineering had 585 and BTech (Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science) had 4698. These scores can serve as a good benchmark to aim for.

Yes, it is quite achievable to secure a seat at IIT Indore with a cutoff rank of 100. However the cutoff may vary depending on category, rounds, specialisations, etc. Thus, depending on the specialisation-wise cutoff ranks released by the institute, candidates can determine for which specialisation they will gain admission at IIT Indore. During the first round of the cutoff list, the closing ranks ranged from 46 to 370 for general category students. MTech admissions at IIT Indore require students to have a four-year bachelor's degree or a five-year integrated degree with first division (as defined by the awarding institute/ university for Indian applicants and equivalent for international applicants) in a relevant stream. While admissions are based on entrance exams such as GATE + COAP Counselling.
