For the General AI category, the highest acceptable rank was 15409 for the BSc in Applied and Industrial Chemistry course. The higher the rank, the lower the competition and vice versa. Check the table below to know the highest rank for other categories.

IIT Indore MSc cutoff 2026 ranged from 420 in the first round to 479 in the last round for the General AI category. Hence, students need to attain a rank of at least 479 to be qualified for admission.

Candidates can check the table below to know the round 1 and last round cutoff for other categories under the All India quota.

Admissions at IIT Indore are based on entrance exams such as JEE Main/JEE Advanced and JoSAA Counselling which have different cutoffs according to category. OBC Category students should aim for a score/rank between 571-4383 in the first round. Two competitive BTech specialisation streams such as Computer Science and Engineering had 585 and BTech (Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science) had 4698. These scores can serve as a good benchmark to aim for.

Yes, it is quite achievable to secure a seat at IIT Indore with a cutoff rank of 100. However the cutoff may vary depending on category, rounds, specialisations, etc. Thus, depending on the specialisation-wise cutoff ranks released by the institute, candidates can determine for which specialisation they will gain admission at IIT Indore. During the first round of the cutoff list, the closing ranks ranged from 46 to 370 for general category students. Therefore, if you belong to the General AI category, you can obtain a seat at IIT Indore in the below available specialisations with a cutoff rank of 100 or less. Candid

For the SC AI category, the IIT Indore UCEED cutoff 2026 was 28 in the last round for the BDes course. So, this category of students need to attain a rank of at least 28 or below to gain admission to IIT Indore for the aforementioned course.

Aspirants who want admission to IIT Indore need to attain course, round and category-wise cutoff ranks.

For the General AI category, the last round of IIT Indore BTech cutoff 2026 varied between 1676 and 15409. Therefore, General AI quota candidates have to attain a rank between this range. To know the round 1 and last round cutoffs for all other courses, see below.

IIT Indore JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 has been released for the first round. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. The cutoff ranks among the General AI category candidates varied between 1628 and 10500. BTech in CSE turned out to be the toughest specialisation among the General AI category.

IIT Indore MSc cutoff 2025 has been released across various specialisations in the form of opening and closing ranks. For the students belonging to the General AI quota, the IIT JAM first round closing ranks were between 46 and 370,  with M.Sc. in Biotechnology being the most competitive for admission. The lower the cutoff rank, the higher the competition for that course, and vice versa.
