Here are some fees for courses at VGSOM IIT Kharagpur: 
 
  • MBA: INR 11.75 Lacs for the 2024-26 batch. This includes academic fees, hostel charges, and caution deposits.
  • Executive MBA: INR 6 Lacs for three years.
  • PGD in Business Analytics: INR 20 lakhs.
  • Ph.D Management: INR 10.29 lakhs.
The application fee for VGSoM IIT Kharagpur is INR 1,600 for General and NC-OBC candidates, and INR 800 for SC/ST/PWD candidates

Some say that the Vinod Gupta School of Management (VGSoM) at IIT Kharagpur is one of the finest business school in eastern india. Some say the faculty is excellent and the school has Bloomberg terminals. Others say the school is good for consulting, operations, and general management.

The Vinod Gupta School of Management (VGSoM) at IIT Kharagpur has an overall cut-off for its MBA program. The minimum CAT percentile required for different categories is: 
 
  • General: 90%
  • NC-OBC: 80%
  • SC: 75%
  • ST: 75%
  • PwD: 75%
VGSoM also considers work experience, extracurriculars, and certifications when selecting candidates. Some say that a score of 92–94% is a safe range for conversion.

The minimum overall cutoff for the MBA at VGSOM IIT Kharagpur in 2023 is 90 percentile for the General category, 80 for NC-OBC, and 75 for SC, ST, and PwD. VGSOM only accepts the CAT exam.

South Indian students have various things in mind when they come to study in a Northern College such as IIT Kharagpur. After knowing the college and people they mostly have positive feedback. A lot of students find that north Indians are interested to know about the South Indian culture. Cinema has a major role in ending this cultural barriers. Pros of IIT Kharagpur for freshers

  • It is one of the oldest IITs present in India, hence students will feel privilaged studying from here. The academic environement is quite excellent here.
  • IIT Kharagpur follows a research oriented approach and is good with placements. The college is visited by top companies such as ITC Limited, Goldman Sachs, HUL, and others.
