The 2023 number of recruiters is not available as of now. Earlier, 68 recruiters participated in the BTech CS placement session 2022, which was the highest count among all the BTech branches. The table below represents the BTech branch-wise number of recruiters for IIT Kharagpur placements 2022:

In Round 1 of IIT Kharagpur admission, the minimum and maximum ranks required for admission ranged between 74 to 239 for General AI category. However, students must check which MSc specialisations are available with a cutoff rank of 100 and below, as cutoff ranks differ for various specialisations, ranks, and categories. Admission to IIT Kharagpur is solelt determined by entrance. Numerous national-level entrance tests, includeing GATE, JEE Main, and JEE Advance, are used to selecte students. A applicant must have at least 75% in class 12 and a relevant JEE score in order to be considered for admission to IIT Kharagpur's undergraduate prograsm. IIT Kharagpur curriculum for BSc courses differs for each specialisation. In order to apply for BSc courses at IIT Kharagpur, a candidate must first appear for JEE Advanced. The steps to apply for JEE Advanced is as follows:
- Authenticate using JEE Main details, JEE roll no and D.O.B, and Login
