Obviously, If you are interested in coding then check if you are getting CSE or MNC at some new iits like IIT Patna, Bhilai, etc. But if it is like I want any of the top old iits then for Non-core get ECE as it is somewhere midway between core & Non core and for government jobs go for EE as it is quite hectic to manage a core branch like ELECTRICAL with proficiency in coding. Coming to these two courses at two different IIT's, I feel that the one in Guwahati may encompass more areas and hence you will gain knowledge in these areas.
