the IIT Mandi the highest package offered in 2024 placements is yet to be released on the official website. As per the media reports, the IIT Mandi the highest package offered during the 2023 placement drive stood at INR 60 LPA. The same is tabulated below:

IIT Mandi offers admission to BTech is based on JEE Main exam score. To get admission candidates are required to apply on the offlicial website of JEE Main. The NTA will release the JEE Main application form 2025 tentatively in November. The exact JEE Main 2025 registration date will be notified soon. As the JEE Mains 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions, NTA will release separate application forms for both January and April session.

Yes, it is very much possible for the candidate to get admission at IIT Mandi with the rank between 600 and 650. IIT JAM is the accepting exam for MSc admission. The cutoff ranks for different courses closed at a range of 498 and 814. At rank of 600 and 650, candidate can get admission to Integrated + Ph.D. in Physics, which has the last-round closing rank of 814.

IIT Mandi Cutoff 2024 for MSc admission is determined on the basis of candidates' score in IIT JAM exam. The IIT Mandi JAM Cutoff 2024 has been concluded for MSc admission. The Cutoff for the General AI category stood at 498 and 814. Candidates can further check the last-round closing ranks for the General AI category in the table below:

For MTech, candidates need to visit the official website of GATE to register online. The application fee for male students is INR 2,000, and INR 1,000 for female/ SC/ ST/ PwD students. Eligible candidates who are applying directly to the official website of IIT Mandi, can pay the applicable application fee.

A choice between IGDTUW for CSE and IIT Mandi for Mechanical would involve your priority lists: whether it is the reputation/ranking that you are after or not. Generally speaking, IIT Mandi enjoys a higher ranking and reputation nation-wide than does IGDTUW. IITs enjoy a good reputation throughout the country when it comes to the quality of education and research.
2. Department Strength: The CSE department of IGDTUW is good concerning faculties, and the industry linkages are also good. IIT Mandi has a great Mechanical Engineering branch with excellent research facilities.
