IIT Preparation

First of all, I would like to tell you that in Mains / Advance at least 55 % of the questions come from class 11th and rest from class 12th. So, from class 11th more portion of paper come. Now to prepare well, you have to devote time on both but not simultaneously. I will recommend to firstly complete class 12th syllabus fully, then move to class 11th to revise. I hope, you know up to CBSE level of class 11th. So that, you can understand class 12th in holidays, try to cover class 11th portion. When you complete class 12th completely, then totally get focused on class 11th syllabus and prepare well. Also, take care to revise for class 12th syllabus one month before the board exam. Don't worry, be confident. Many people do it and you can also do it, if you work hard. Avoid social networking and use of smart phone. If you truly sacrifice something, then you will surely achieve it. So, study well and best of luck.

First of all, you should check of all the options that you have in your hand. If you are devoted towards IIT and you think you can do it, then you should take a drop but remember drop is really frustrating so you should have enough to manage with it. Another factor affecting it is that it has to based on your this year marks. If you score around the cut-off so you can try but you have to prepare yourself to get around 200 marks. If you think that you can get then only you should take a drop otherwise you can go for good private colleges by which you will be saving around 3 lakhs which you are going to spend in Kota and most of all you, will be saving a whole year. I think join Etoos India (online) along with Aakash (offline classes) in Chennai is very hard job and wastes a lot of time of yours. So, it is your call and you have to think about it.
