The mode of IIT Roorkee admission 2023 is online. Candidates willing to seek admission to any of IIT Roorkee's courses must appear for the respective entrance exam and qualify for the IIT Roorkee cut-off and PI rounds. IIT Roorkee admission to various courses is entrance-based. The candidates are selected through national-level tests conducted by various authorities. The selection of candidates for IIT Roorkee’s BTech programme is based on JoSAA Counselling. Tabulated below are the closing ranks fro BTech courses:

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Engineering Physics at IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category are - 2648 for OBC, 1764 for SC, 894 for ST, 1062 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The Opening and Closing ranks depend on the category and quota of candidates. For the IIT Roorkee cutoff 2023, the closing rank was 687. Cutoff are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of the home state. In All India, the closing rank for female candidates was 1866.
Admission to BTech in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Advanced entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying for while checking for cut offs.

For 2022, cut off was 413 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 1463 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering was 5075 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT Roorkee.

IIT Roorkee BTech cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 5 seat allotment, the BTech cutoff scores ranged between 481 and, 7286 for the General AII India category students. Among all the BTech specialisations, BTech in CSE is the most competitive specialisation. The Last Round for Computer Science and Engineering is 481 for the General AI category.
Furthermore, according to IIT Roorkee OBC AI category cutoff 2024, the Last Round closing rank for Computer Science and Engineering is 236. In addition, the cutoff varied from 236 to 3549 in the OBC category. For more information, click here.

The IIT Roorkee cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 5 for BTech, Integrated BTech and BArch courses in the form of opening and closing ranks. As per cutoffs 2024, JEE Advanced rank is 19885 for the IIT Roorkee BArch course for General AI category. For female candidates in the general category under the All India quota, 19354 was the closing rank.
For 2022 and 2023, the Round 5 closing cutoff was 17464 and 20728, respectively for the General category students. So, comparing the 2024 Round 5 cutoff with the previous years, IIT Roorkee witnessed a fluctuating trend for BArch.
