One of the new IITs founded in 2015 is IIT Tirupati. IIT Tirupati is well known for its flagship programme, the B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE).The IIT Tirupati CSE branch's JEE Advanced cutoff ranges from 1682 to 3360.The overall cost of the B.Tech programme at IIT Tirupati is INR 8 Lacs. All B.Tech. courses require a passing score on the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams in order to get admitted.Additionally, candidates must participate in the JoSAA counselling session for the final seat allocation.

IIT Tirupati offers MTech for two-years at the PG level. Admission to this programme is subject to a valid GATE score followed by COAP Counselling. The specialisations available under MTech include Civil & Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Electrical Engineering. These specialisations are also offered across multiple sub-specialisations under these streams. IIT Graduates and GATE qualified candidates can apply for any of the MTech specialisations.

The students are shortlisted for the BTech programme based on their JEE Main and JEE Advanced score followed by JoSAA counselling. More details are as follows:

  • Admission to 100% of the seats in BTech is done on the basis of JEE Advanced ranks during JoSAA counselling
  • Cutoff reservations, however, are applicable to SC/ ST/ EWS/ OBC-NCL/ PwD candidates as per Govt. of India rules

IIT Tirupati admissions are open. Candidates must fulfill eligibility and selection criteria to get into a course. Check below the steps to get a seat in institute:

  • The institute offers admission to BTech based on JEE Advanced scores. IIT JAM and GATE scores are considered for MSc and MTech courses, respectively. JoSAA and JOAP counsellings are conducted for seat allotment to BTech and MSc courses, respectively.
