IIT Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) notification has been announced by IIT Bombay, the exam conducting body for the academic year 2026-27. IIT Bombay, the conducting body for IIT JAM 2026, will be commencing the application process on September 5, 2025 in online mode. 

According to the information mentioned in the IIT JAM 2026 Information brochure, which was released by IIT Bombay, the examination conducting body, there is no as such nay age limit to appear for IIT JAM 2026. However it is recommended that aspirants can appear for IIT JAM 2026 examination as soon as the get a graduate degree so that they can perform well in the examination.

BTech at IIT Jammu is available across seven specialisations. IIT Jammu's UG courses include 20% seats (category wise) for IIT Jammu + IIM Jammu dual degree program (four-year BTech of IIT Jammu and two-year MBA of IIM Jammu). The transition to IIM Jammu MBA is to be opted by the end of the third year of the IIT Jammu BTech course. This is a direct transition to IIM Jammu MBA programme that too without CAT and is subject to having a minimum CGPA of 7.0 in the BTech course. All these specialisations are as follows:

• Materials Engineering
• Mathematics and Computing

IISc Bangalore (result announcing body of GATE) will announce the GATE 2024 result on March 25. To check the result, students will need to enter their GATE enrollment ID, registered email ID, and date of birth. In 2024, IISc Bangalore will conduct the GATE exam. This exam also opens various opportunities for engineering and Science graduates to work in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and in the field of research.
