IITs accept only admission based on JEE Advanced Score. I think you're confused between IITs and IIITs. IIITs take admission if you get good rank in JEE Mains where they do not care about JEE Advanced. IITs are different from IIITs.

You see always IITs are in top, then followed by NITs. So, In order to get admission in IITs you need to write JEE Mains + JEE Advanced to get admission. The registration for JEE advance has ended today at 5:00 pm. It was stated on 3 May and ended on 9 may. This was only for those who are going to appear for JEE advance. If you are asking for JEE Mains exam, then application for that will start in September 2019. Best of luck.

It generally comes in the month of December, and the exam date open in Month of April.
