Although IITs are renowned for BTech and M.Tech courses, the institutes have recently started offering quality education in MA courses too. MA from IIT has quickly become a popular choice among the students. The minimum eligibility criteria for IIT MA is a bachelor's degree in any discipline after a 10+2 from a recognised board, and a minimum aggregate of 55% or more.
As of now, out of 23, 5 IITs are offering Master of Arts (MA) courses as postgraduate or dual degree programs. The details of the colleges are mentioned below:

The highest package offered to BTech students for 2025 placements stood at INR 56.30 LPA. The official website has released the BTech average and median packages which stood at INR 12 LPA and INR 9 LPA, respectively. There is no quota available for the candidates willing to apply with female gender, however, they can apply through unreserved quota, the IIT Bhilai JAM cutoff 2025 for the General AI quota stood between 589 and 708.
