IIT is more popular than VIT Mauritius. IIT is well known for its academic offerings, research opportunities, and strong alumni networks. On the other hand, VIT Mauritius is quite a new campus of VIT and may not have the same establishments and reputation. In addition, the cost to pursue B.Tech programs at IIT is way cheaper than VIT Mauritius due to the government funding.

During the final year of BSc in Zoology. After that, I received an invitation to apply for M.Tech in IIT-Delhi. But, unfortunately, to pursue M.Tech degree, one should have B.Tech or MSc degree in relevant subjects. Thus, even after qualifying GATE during my bachelor's, I couldn't join or at least apply for M.Tech in any of the IITs.

The newer IITs offering Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) include IIT Ropar, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Patna, IIT Indore, IIT Mandi, IIT Tirupati, IIT Palakkad, IIT Dharwad, IIT Bhilai, IIT Goa, and IIT Jammu. These institutes offer B.Tech and M.Tech programs in CSE.
