Your friend is not eligible as minimum percentage required in 12 is 75 for either general category or OBC category. This criteria has been implemented from a few years ago earlier it was 60% only. You can also check on your own there are plenty of sites mentioned the eligibility criteria.

For general category, it is nearly impossible to get admission, but keep trying.
