Devoting one full year for competitive exam preparation has its own merits and demerits. Dropping a year means that you will get sufficient amount of time to prepare for competitive exams. Eligibilty criteria to appear in JEE is that candidates must have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifyingv examination are eligible to appear in JEE(Main)- 2017. Eligibilty criteria does prohibits students from open schools to appear in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.

It's ultimately your passion that should decide. If you want to become generalist, go for MBA, but if you have passion for Technology then go for M.Tech. But normally MBA gets better packages.

If you score 150+ in JEE Mains or Advanced then you get a good college for engineering for CS branch. If you want to enrol in a top NIT or IIT then you have to score near about 200 marks.

It is an excellent strategy to do M.Tech from any of the IITs by cracking GATE after B.Tech from a private university. It will help you get a good job and help in career growth as you will be known as an IITian.

Maths is one of the easiest parts in JEE Mains after Chemistry.
You just need to memorize formulas and shortcut trick.
Follow only one book. (NCERT is not good for IITJEE).
Tata Mc Graw Hill for JEE Mains is one of the best books. It is also enough for JEE Advanced. It has a lot of questions with solutions. Solve it completely.
And in last 4 months, buy Arihant 38 years for Maths.
You can easily score 100+ marks if you follow my tips.
You just need to memorize formulas and shortcut trick.

You can go through MTG books or TMH Complete PCM for good practice in MCQ or you can also go with the study material of the coaching institute which is also much effective.

The cut-off for CSE in BITS-Goa lies between 317 to 330 marks in 2017. I don't know the exact iteration number, but probably it's 3rd or 4th.

Some good engineering colleges such as DTU, NSIT, IIITs, etc., accept JEE Mains scores. Therefore, you are advised to appear for JEE Mains. You are advised to appear for BITS, VIT or Manipal University's engineering entrance examinations to join engineering course. In addition, you are advised to appear for your the State engineering entrance examination.
