Almost all IITs allow students to do their Ph.D. of course there will be some criteria for selection. I suggest you approach any IIT and seek help. They will be more than willing to help you.

For B.Arch courses in IIT they take exams after JEE Advanced almost a week after which is conducted by IIT center for the exam is near by zonal IITs only.

Cutoffs are originally decided based on the toughness of examination and the number of seat availables in NITS and IITS, and number of candidates applied. It is decided after registration of examination.

For top branches in top IITs, it should be under 500. For low branches in top IITs, it should be under 4000. For any branch in any IIT, it should be 10000 around.

Hope you are doing well. As I am looking at your concern, so you want IIT college. For this you need to disappear for a year and need to invest your time in study and preparation of JEE ADVANCED. Forget about TV, read only Newspaper. Forget about social media, read only learning websites. Forget about party and picnics, remember only one ambition - IIT.
You will definatley get succeed.
Learn and do strong your basics for PCM . you will definatley get IIT.

There are separate books available for different topics in JAM Mathematical Statistics. So, buying these books separately for each topic is not a good idea. I would suggest you to take help from study materials which covers the syllabus for all the topics in a single book. So, you don't have to carry 1015 books with you.
