Yes, you should. Computer science is an amazing field.
Since, you have not studied programming before, I think this would be the right time to start going through some basics.

I think you should give your one year for the preparation of IIT. You should join any good coaching and work hard for it. Give your best shot in next year's JEE. Try to solve Books like Cengage, HC Verma, DC Pandey, etc. for best output.

It's not quite easy with that rank. Try taking other entrance exams and you might get lucky.

The counselling for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and IITs will be held after the results of JEE Advanced. You need to look for counselling at www.josaa.nic.in.

Hi,
They don't consider 10th marks but in 12th board exam you need to have at least 75% overall and an aggregate in PCM should also be 75%. Otherwise, even if you clear JEE main and advanced you will not be eligible to get admission in any NIT or IIT.

Hi,
You can take a coaching in an IIT class but you are not eligible to get admission in NITs and IITs as you have only 60% in boards. You should have at least 75% in your board exams to get admission in an NIT or IIT.
