IIT is very well placed globally. No university in India has the reputation IIT has globally. However, if you get admitted to an university like MIT or GeorgiaTech, then go for these.
Good Luck.

There are many students who do not join any coaching institute but do complete preparation by themselves. It's tough but surely not impossible. Chalking out timetable and sticking to it are two most important issues.
Best wishes.

Number coaching institutes are not a must. There are many students who join IITs with self-preparation. It's tough but not impossible. With studies of 12th, it further complicates the issue. It is for this reason that many students take break of one year to exclusively prepare for IIT entrance exam.
Best wishes.

Firstly, do not panic. Syllabus for JEE Mains is same as 12th of CBSE. But let me assure you that contents of state board & CBSE do differ widely.
If you are appearing for JEE Mains this year then I suggest that you should join crash course of some coaching institute. They will teach you many tricks for shortcut answers and some more.
Best wishes.

Companies salary packages are almost wholly dependent on demand and supply. More supply means less salary and less supply means higher salary. Also, MNCs normally offer better packages than Indian companies. All in all, you can expect CTC of around 4 to 6 Lakhs per annum.

Kindly, understand that you have to do well in 12th. In fact you should get 75% or more. So, do not skip studies of 12th. Yes, it's a good idea to take drop of 1 year. Give yourself this year to prepare for your future. In our life one year is actually nothing. But, do remember this year is for the preparation.
