The fees for M.Sc. in government colleges starts from INR 20,000 to 3 Lacs. It is high in private colleges. There are several ways of getting scholarship state wise. You can get up to 20,000 for your complete M.Sc. Course and also there are options for private colleges scholarship.

The fee charged is semester-wise, and you will be expected to pay for two semesters together. Also, the fees vary for Karnataka, non-Karnataka, and NRI students.
For Karnataka students, the latest updated fees pattern for the 2022 session onward is as follows:
Value Addition Fee: INR 12,587.00
Computer Lab Fee (Applied Art): INR 25,795.00
College Fee: INR 18,174.00
The total fee is approximately INR 56,000 rupees.
This is for two semesters, say, semesters III and IV. For more clarity, you may visit the finance department of the college.

You cannot apply for government quota seats in the self-financing colleges in Tamil Nadu unless you have a Tamil Nadu domicile. However, you can apply for management quota seats in the self-financing/private colleges. In the deemed universities of Tamil Nadu, there is no segregation as such (government seats vs management quota seats) and so you can apply for any seat there.
