Your marks in 12th in madhya pradesh, will not take you far in Delhi. There JEE Mains scores are used to give admission in engineering colleges. In India, admission in engineering is based on entrance examinations score only. If you complete 12th from a recognised school.and crack Engineering exam you will have no problem with respect to gap years for admission in engineering subject to you meeting age eligibility criteria of the college.

It all depends on your experience. The starting salary for fresher's is about 80000-1lac per year. But it may vary on work experience. An experienced Biochemist earn about 7-8 lac per year
