The area you are interested in is related to RnD to be precise. You need to decide which branch or field of research you are keen in. There could be numerous sub-classes in science and technology. Enroll into a Bachelor's degree and major in areas of your interests, in countries like USA education you can opt for undeclared major and can explore your interests. Enroll into a university having a huge research base. Aim for a Ph.D for a bright career in RnD.

Hello Vivek,
In science, you have engineering and medical. These are the traditional streams students choose. Some new streams are also in demand nowadays like bio- tech, nano technology, agriculture and genetic. Students are also moving in fashion designing and interior designing. Research oriented students can go for KVPY and get into institutes like IISC, IISERs.
There are courses like mechanical/ electrical and computer science in engineering to newer ones like hotel management and fashion designing. You can opt for any of these as per your interest.
