Hi Shan,
-To become a commercial pilot in India, one has to first possess a Student Pilot License (SPL).
-You must be over 17 years of age and have completed Plus Two with physics and mathematics and register at a flying club which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India. Registration requires a medical certificate, security clearance and a bank guarantee.
-Next is Private Pilot License (PPL) which includes sixty hours of flying. This makes one eligible for the PPL exam, with a medical Fitness Certificate issued by the Armed Forces Central Medical Establishment (AFCME).

I would disagree. The architects are quite in demand these days! They get good salary packages and get hired by architecture and constructions firms alike, right out of campus! Especially so if you happen to be at one of the premier institutes for Architecture like the SPA etc.

Council of Architecture , New Delhi provides architects of India and abroad licence to practice. You may have to check the status of your degree with the Council of Architecture , New Delhi. This is lifted from the site coa.gov.inCouncil of Architecture
a) Bachelors Degree in Architecture awarded by the American Universities/Institutions, the curricula of which are accredited to the National Architectural Accrediting Board (USA)
