Indian Institute of Management, Indore Admission Process

IIM, Indore offers specialised MBA courses and for these, candidates are selected on the basis of the given exams score and a personal interview round. The required qualifying examinations for different courses are:

1.       Executive Post Graduate Program in Management- GMAT/ GRE/ CAT

2.       Two- Year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and Two- year Post Graduate Programme in Human Resource Management (PGP- HRM)- CAT

3.       Five- Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) and Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPMX) - Aptitude Test conducted by the college.

4.       Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM) and Executive Doctoral Programme in Management (EDPM) - CAT/ JRE/ JRF/ GMAT

The Executive Doctoral Programme in Management and Governance course accepts direct admissions. 

IPM course offered by IIM Indore is a five-year integrated Management programme that provides students a comprehensive understanding of the Business and Management industry. Designed to prepare students for a career in the corporate world in sectors, such as Consulting, and Entrepreneurship, the admission process for IPM at IIM Indore is highly competitive. The admission cycle for the flagship PGP courses of IIM-I starts in the month of August for the upcoming year's MBA admission batch. IIM Indore has adopted a three-stage selection process for admission to its PGP and PGP HRM programmes, which is as follows:

Eligibility criteria

All applicants must fulfil the eligibility requirements specified for PGP admission. A pass in any UG degree or completed a professional degree (CA/ CS/ ICWA/ FIAI) with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) is required to apply for PGP course.

Shortlist for PI

Only those aspirants satisfying the eligibility requirements will be shortlisted for PI round. Sufficient number of candidates for PI from each category will be shortlisted using the merit list generated based on composite score. Candidates shortlisted for PI will be intimated in the month of January 2023. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not shortlisted for PI.

Final Selection

After completion of the above selection rounds, category-wise merit list is generated based on final composite score and provisional admission offers are made accordingly.

IIM Indore admission is a multi-step process. Find below the admission steps for IIM Indore EPGP course:

Step 1: Application Process-Applicants are supposed to fill up the online application form and attach the required documents and furnishing the details of application processing fee of INR 5,900 including GST deposited in the form of online bank transfer.

Step 2: Selection Rounds-After initial screening based on GMAT score, all the candidates short-listed for personal interview will be informed through e-mail. 

Step 3: Admission Confirmation-Subsequent to the interview process, provisional admission offers are posted on the institute website and shortlisted candidates will also be informed through post & email. To accept the provisional admission offer, a candidate has to submit a letter of acceptance along with the commitment fee.
