- Go to the official website of CAT at iimcat.ac.in and click 'new registration'
- Enter name, date of birth, nationality, phone number and email ID to register
- Log in with the ID received in email to complete the application form
- Enter personal and academic details
- Upload a recent passport-size photo and scanned signature
- Select preferred courses and IIMs, including IIM Mumbai
- Select test city preference for exam centre allotment
- Pay the application fee using a credit or debit card or net banking

The application fee for PGDISEM programme offered at IIM Mumbai is INR 1,000 (INR 500 in case of SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) for applicants from India and SAARC countries. For international applicants, the application fee is 50 USD 50 along with the bank charges (as applicable).
