Yes, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Jammu branch, is considered a good institution for pursuing PG Diploma courses, but if I have to say which is the best one, I'll definitely go with the IIMC Delhi, as the highest placement was from the Delhi branch with a salary package of a stunning 20 LPA. But since you're specifically asking about the Jammu branch, I'll say that it holds a decent reputation too, although its not better from the Delhi one so if you can manage living in Delhi, then I'll suggest you to go for that only and not the Jammu one.

The best course offered by IIMC Jammu appears to be the PG Diploma in English Journalism. The PG Diploma in English Journalism is described as "the best course offered by IIMC, Jammu, where students fight to get a seat in that particular course." This suggests that the PG Diploma in English Journalism is the most popular and competitive program at IIMC Jammu.
