IIT Mandi has been ranked 31st by NIRF for B.Tech Mechanical engineering amongst the top engineering colleges in the country. While IIT Tirupati and IIT Dharwad were recently established and haven't been ranked yet by NIRF. Delhi textile, go for better college if non circuital branches are the only option.

With 17200 rank, it's not possible to get into IIT Delhi for General Category Students. With 41200 rank you can get Mechanical Engineering at NIT Delhi and may get Electrical Engineering by CSAB-2.
