For students belonging to the SC AI quota, a cutoff rank between 13 and 674 is considered to be a safe rank for MSc admission at IIT Bombay. The better (lower) your rank, the higher is the probability of securing a seat at IIT Bombay for MSc. This is the overall cutoff range for MSc admission, including all the rounds and specialisations for the SC category students. The round-wise IIT JAM cutoff range for 2025 is given below for MSc admission.

In IIT Bombay B.Tech admissions of 2024, cutoffs (closing ranks) were also very varied across branches and branch-wise across categories. In the much desired Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), the last rank was 68 in the general category. Such other departments as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering closed at approximately 464, 1685, and 4046 (General, Last Round). Yes, IIT Bombay offers admission to MBA course on the basis of candidates' performance in the CAT entrance exam, followed by WAT and PI round.The institute releases two types of CAT cutoffs, namely the qualifying CAT cutoff and the final CAT cutoff. Securing a minimum qualifying cutoff just means that the candidate is eligible for the next step in the admission procedure. IIT Bombay MBA cutoff 2024 has been released, wherein the CAT cutoff percentile is 90 for the General AI category students for admission.

IIT Bombay JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was released in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks. Normally, the number of seats is directly proportionate to the Cutoff ranks. Also, it is observed that as the number of applicants increase, the Cutoff rank also increases. IIT Bomby 2024 Cutoff showed that, the number of seats increased in comparison to the last year in a few courses, and increased in a few courses. It also indicates that the competition has been declining in a few courses, while improving in a few. To secure a seat in an IIT for CSE, you need to score between 280 to 300+ in JEE Advanced. The expected cutoff scores for JEE Main 2024 are: General 91+, OBC 74+, EWS 76+, SC 55+, ST 40+, and PwD categories is 0.11+.The closing rank for general candidates is around 60.
