For B.Tech and B.Arch programs, admission is through the Joint Admission Counseling (JAC) - 2023 jointly for DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW, DSEU and IIITD. For the B.B.A. program, admission is through the website.

JAC Delhi Counselling is conducted round-wise by Joint Admission Committee (JAC) for admission to UG courses in premier Delhi government-funded universities, offering Engineering, Architecture and Management programmes. JAC Delhi is conducted online with the support of the National Informatics Centre (NIC). Admission to the courses offered by IGDTUW is determined by national entrance tests. Five BTech specialisations are available at IGDTUW. The prerequisite for applying to the BTech programme is a minimum cumulative GPA of 75% in Math and Physics, which are required subjects in Class 12. A dual degree programmes combining an MBA and BTech degree is also available from IGDTUW. The programme lasts five years and is exclusively available in the Mechanical and Automation Engineering (MAE) BTech specialty. Following the completion of four years of their engineering degree, students are free to leave the programme.
