IGDTUW admission are based on entrance exam scores as per course requirements. The university offers various courses such as BTech, MTech, BBA, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 to enroll for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University, through eight departments, offers UG, PhD, and PG courses to students. These courses are provided across the Computer Science Engineering, IT (Cyber Security), and various other streams.

IGDTUW BTech admission is based on JEE Main ranks, followed by JAC Delhi counselling. Considering the IGDTUW JAC Delhi cutoff 2025, the closing ranks varied between 43969 and 100050 for the students belonging to the General HS quota for female students.
