JEE Main rank is accepted by both DTU and IIT Delhi, followed by the JAC Delhi counselling process for admission to various BTech specialisations. According to the JAC Delhi Round 1 cutoff 2025, the closing rank for CSE admission for the General AI category was 2285. While for IIT Delhi it was 8171.

Therefore, going by the cutoff for both institutions, IIT Delhi is relatively easier for CSE admissions. Although those candidates who qualified for DTU can view other parameters to consider for a better, more knowledgeable decision.

The minimum cutoff rank required for IIIT BTech in CSE admission during the Round 1 admission was 7429 or less for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Students with lower cutoff ranks will have the better chance of securing admission to CSE at IIIT Delhi. BTech total course fee is cumulative of various fee components, including tuition fee, hostel charges (if applicable), alumni fee, security money, etc. The total tuition fee for the UG course is INR 18 lakh, plus the hostel fee is up to INR 3.18 lakh, and a one-time fee of INR 12,000 also has to be paid.
