Yes, admission to the IIIT Delhi, Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology is possible through JEE Mains as the only entrance exam. Though IIITD also requires students to go through JAC Counselling process as well.
Further candidates must also complete the course eligibility of passing Class 12 with minimum 70% scores.

IIIT Delhi accepts the JEE Main scores, followed by JAC Delhi counselling for BTech admission across various categories. IIIT Delhi CSE cutoff 2026 for Round 1 was 5473 for students belonging to the General HS quota. For other categories under the HS quota, check out the table below:

IIIT Bangalore and IIIT Delhi, both are closely knit leading Engineering Institutes in India. The NIRF ranking 2025 of IIIT Bangalore is 69 whereas IIIT Delhi is ranked 63 in the Engineering category.

As per the NIRF 2025 ranking under the “Engineering” category, Indraprastha IIT Delhi ranks 63 among the top Engineering institutes of the country. The total fee for M.Tech in IIIT Delhi ranges between INR 3.7 Lacs and INR 6 lakh. NIT Trichy MTech fee is INR 1.4 lakh. As per placement statistics, the median package is recorded to be INR 18.17 LPA for IIITD and INR 7 LPA for NIT Trichy. Hence, it can be concluded that the fee is higher at IIITD.
