There is no minimum score required to appear for UCEED exam. The rank that you will secure in UCEED exam will determine if you're eligible for IIT or not. Aspirants who are from the Science Stream and have studied subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for admission at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIITDM Jabalpur. Candidates from any other stream (Science without Maths or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) can apply for admission at only IIT Bombay and IIITDM Jabalpur. You might want to reappear for the CEED as a major chunk of admissions is done through the CEED. Master of Design (M.Des):
Admission Process:
The process of admission to Master of Design is through an entrance examination. This is known as Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED), it is conducted by IIT Mumbai every year. The test is designed to test the skills of the candidate like, colour sensitiveness, structure, perception, innovation and aptitude towards the discipline. The test is followed by a process of personal interview. If you do not want to appear for the CEED again, you can opt for Distance learning universities which allow direct entry of the candidates. There is no process of lateral entry in this course.

Symbiosis International University conducts Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design SEED in order to offer admissions to aspirants in B.Des programmes offered at Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID). Earlier known as SET for Design, SEED conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for design course admissions evaluates candidates on spheres such as colour, geometry, visual observations, general design awareness, creative thinking abilities and awareness on Indian culture, craft, traditions and the likes. SEED conducted by SIU comprises of objective type questions.On the basis of an aspirant's performance in Symbiosis Institute of Design Test, he/she can secure admission in B.Des programmes offered in disciplines such as Graphic Design (GD), Video Film Design (VFD), Animation Film Design (AFD), User Experience Design (UED), Product Design (PD), Interior Space Design (ISD), Fashion Design (FD) and Fashion Communication (FC) offered at SID. Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria as listed by SID for admission in design programmes offered by it.
