MGMBIT placements are competitive among biosciences and yet a little lower compared to CSMU. Generally, 60-70% placements are abided by MGMIBT with average packages of INR 3-4 Lacs per annum from industries like Biocon or Serum Institute, whereas CSMU covers the placement from 70-80% based on their wide programs and an average of INR 4-5 Lacs.
Both universities are good places, on a regional basis, but CSMU is slightly better with regard to volume and salary as of early 2025, according to usual trends.

There are many documents needed for admission to MGMIBT, like 10th or 12th mark sheet (for UG) or bachelor's degree certificates (for PG) and each of them needs to be attested.
A valid ID proof (Aadhaar, passport) plus some recent passport-size photographs (4-6) is required. A transfer or migration certificate of the last institution attended, as well as a character certificate, are also needed.

Admission to MGM Institute of Biosciences and Technology is not direct for most programs.
It usually involves a merit-based admission or an entrance test for both the B.Sc. or M.Sc. courses entry that validates the completion of 10+2 for undergraduate programs or a Bachelor degree for postgraduate programs with some relevant marks, generally, 50%.
