For a distance course MSc(IT) degree, you have options like IGNOU, Universiry of Madras, Birla Institute of Technology, etc. These are Govt. colleges which only provides books for learning and an e-portal.
However I would suggest you to check Sikkim Manipal University (if you do not have any financial constraints) as it is one of best option in terms of placements, visibility, and newly developed learning methods:

MA in economics is not offered in the Institute of Distance and Open Learning.

Hello there,
Yes, you can go for distance education in BA from Mumbai University. The eligibility criteria for this is passing HSC from any recognized university.

For admission to M.Com program, students must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:
* Bachelor's degree in commerce.
* Minimum 50% marks at the level of graduation.
* Certain universities also admit students with a BA economics (Hons.) degree.
* Students who have passed BBS, BBA, BFIA and BBE with at least 60% marks can also apply.
