Yes, you can still get admission to DIET Dumkal without WBJEE, but only through management quota:

10% of B.Tech seats are reserved for management quota—these don't require WBJEE rank .

However, you must have passed 10+2 with PCM and meet eligibility (45% aggregate) .

For lateral entry, Diploma or B.Sc + JELET qualification works.

Direct management admissions typically involve contacting the college admissions office, paying higher fees, and submitting required documents.

For UG B.E./B.Tech, DIET (Dumkal Institute of Engineering & Technology) requires:

10+2 pass with 45% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, and at least 30% in English.

A valid WBJEE or JEE Main score—admissions are done through state-centralized counseling (80% WBJEE, 10% JEE Main, 10% management quota).

Diploma holders in relevant fields can join via JELET lateral entry into the second year .

For PG M.E./M. Tech, candidates need a bachelor's degree in engineering/technology with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories), plus GATE or WBUT-PGET qualification, followed by counseling.

Admission- B.E./B.Tech at Sri Vasavi institute of engineering and Technology (SVIET) is mostly done through 2 streams. The *Convenor Quota ( 70 percent of the seats )* will have a valid rank in the *AP EAMCET* and at least 45 percent (40 percent in reserved) marks in the 10+2 PCM. The *Management Quota ( 30% seats )* takes either Andhra Pradesh EAMCET rank or minimum of 50 in 10+2 in PCM. These two courses demand that a candidate must meet the local/non-local requirements and must attain the age of 16 years old by the deadline of December 31 st of the year of admission.
