To be eligible for the B.Sc. (Hospitality Management) course at the Institute of Hotel Management Hyderabad, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Additionally, English must have been a subject of study in the qualifying examination.
Admission to this institute is entrance as well as merit-based. IHM Hyderabad accepts NCHMCT JEE and NCHMCT MSc JEE score for admission to BSc and MSc course, respectively.

IHM Hyderabad offers UG and PG courses in Hospitality Management. At the UG level, the institute offers B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration and at the PG level, the institute offers M.Sc. in Hospitality Administration. IHM Hyderabad admission to BSc and MSc courses is based on NCHMCT JEE scores and NCHM MSc JEE scores, respectively followed by the counselling of each. Candidates must have a valid scores in aforementioned exams in order to be eligible for IHM Hyderbad admissions further procedure. Hence. a direct admission to IHM Hyderabad is not granted. NCHMCT JEE 2022 Counselling concluded after four rounds. The closing rank for NCHMCT JEE 2022 for IHM Hyderabad BSc cutoff 2022 stood at 2191 whereas for 2021 it stood at 2405 for the General category students as tabulated below:

NCHMM MSc JEE 2023 Counselling is ongoing. IHM Hyderabad offers admission to MSc course through NCHM MSc JEE scores followed by NCHMCT JEE Counselling. In order to be eligible for admissions to IHM Hyderabad MSc admissions, candidates must appear and meet the NCHM MSc cutoff.
