Interior Design

CEPT Entrance Exams pattern is held in offline mode. It is different for different courses. The types of questions asked in CEPT Entrance Exam are mixed, including both MCQ and subjective questions. There is no negative marking in the test. Candidates need to carry their ball point pen and pencil with themselves in the exam hall. The duration of exam ranges from 30 minutes to 3 hours depending on the course. CEPT Entrance Exam (Centre for Environment Planning and Technology Entrance Exam) is conducted by CEPT University. It is held for admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the field of Design, Construction and Technology, etc. The university conducts a series of exams for various courses generally in the month of July.

B.Sc interior design is a programme which educate students with concepts of planning, designing, organizing and managing a space according to its function. The course includes detailed study about principles and elements of design. Training of 2D and 3D design software is an integral part of B.Sc interior design.
Students, who enjoy indulging in decorating spaces, have an instinct for designing and creativity are apt for B.Sc interior design. One must also have effective communication skills and a technical approach, as it adds on to being suitable for this programme.
B.Voc interior designing course is for the inquisitive /curious minded students who would like to work and grow in the profession of Interior design. With a focus on technical skills, the curriculum AIMS at teaching the students the essentials and the process of interior design. Students work on project based exercises with the learning and understanding of interior space planning; develop technique for drawing, documentation and communication; interior design project execution and coordination. The programme encourages students to get hands-on learning in the wood, metal and construction labs by undertaking workshop projects and apply the skills in live projects, onsite and on projects in industry.
