At the postgraduate level, there is IIIT Hyderabad M Tech course available for students. M.Tech is provided in four specialisations such as Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Computer Science & Information Security (CSIS), Computer Aided Structural Engineering (CASE), and Product Design and Management (PDM). At the undegraduate level, IIIT Hyderabad Gachibowli offers BTech courses to students. BTech is provided in two specialisations, namely CSE and ECE. The IIIT Hyderabad also provides PhD and other courses to students.

International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad accepts JEE Main scores for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Hyderabad JEE Main cutoff 2024, the Round 2 closing rank for CSE and ECE were 1371 and 4391, respectively for the students beloning to the OBC category.

Admission to most of the IIIT Hyderabad courses is entrance exam-based. Admission to M.Tech programme is based on entrance exam and subject to a valid score in the Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGEE) conducted by the institute. For M.Tech in PDM, however, a valid score in GATE/ CEED exams is also accepted. Other eligibility criteria includes A pass in BE/ BTech/ ME/ M.Tech (all branches), other relevant PG degrees.
