Yes, IIIT Hyderabad offers part-time courses as well. The professionals are encouraged by the institute to enroll in the PG programmes on a part-time basis also. IIIT Hyderabad also offers MTech, MS by Research, MPhil and PhD programmes along with a few courses, namely MSIT and PGSSP courses at PG and doctoral levels. The year-wise fee for PhD is INR 60,000. Additionally, the deemed university provides financial assistance towards the tuition fees and stipend to all research students (PhD) of good standing. Normally, full financial assistance requires the student to put in 20 hours of work per week. Financial assistance is provided to all the students during the first semester, but it is continued based on good academic performance. Additionally, the institute also offers a monthly stipend ranging from INR 31,000 and INR 35,000 to the PhD students.

Admission to dual degree programmes at IIIT Hyderabad is done basis UGEE/ DASA/ Olympiad (KVPY)/ Class 12 board exams followed by a personal interview. Additionally, LEEE exam is also accepted for lateral entry admissions into the course. Interested students can apply online on the official website. Along with and before appearing for these exams, students must meet with the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute for admission to the dual degree courses, which is to pass Class 12 with PCM stream. Candidates are selected for an IIT Bhubaneswar course based on scores in the relevant entrance exams. For BTech, scores in JEE Main and Advanced are considered followed by JoSAA counselling. In addition, for MSc - IIT JAM and GATE for M.Tech course. Candidates need to visit the respective exam websites to complete the application process, such as NTA (nta.ac.in) for JEE Main, COAPS for GATE (gate.iitk.ac.in), etc.
