The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Pune accepts scores from entrance exams like JEE Main and MHT CET. IIIT Pune offers B.Tech and BE programs, which take four years to complete.
In case of a tie, the JEE rank of the applicants will be considered.
IIIT Pune is one of the most famous colleges in Maharashtra and in India. It is AICTE approved and ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited.

The semester-wise fee for PhD is INR 75,000. Additionally, the deemed university provides financial assistance towards the tuition fees and stipend to all research students (PhD) of good standing. Normally, full financial assistance requires the student to put in 20 hours of work per week. Financial assistance is provided to all the students during the first semester, but it is continued based on good academic performance.

A PhD student can take the relevant courses in the first one or two semesters, depending on the background, just like a student of MS by research. After the first year, the student works on clearing the PhD qualifying exam which tests his or her breadth of knowledge in the field of study.

To sort out the fee issues and unburden the students, the institute provides financial assistance at the campus in place of scholarships. Details around this financial assistance are as follows:

No, the deemed university only considers JEE Main scores for regular admissions. There is, however, a provision for admissions based on other entrance exams, such as DASA and SPEC. Further, for students from Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities with Mathematics, there are opportunities to pursue Dual Degree in the field of Computational Linguistics or Exact Humanities.

No, completing the application process does not guarantee that a seat is reserved. Allocation of seats will depend on a number of people who have better JEE Main / SPEC or DASA scores compared to the applicant. Admission to BTech is conducted via multiple modes, which include JEE Main, Direct Admissions for Students Abroad (DASA) and Special Chance of Admission (SPEC) channels.

A total of 235 seats are available for the four-year BTech students at IIIT Hyderabad. Out of the total, 235 seats available for BTech, the total seat intake for JEE aspirants at IIIT H is 170 & the remaining seats are divided among SPEC &DASA candidates.
