The mode of MHT Institute of Information Technology Pune course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance examination scores. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main, MHT CET, and others. Candidates applying through JEE Main must first register for the JEE Main exam. Then appear for the JEE Main exam. IIIT Pune offers admission to MTech courses in various specialisations for a period of two years, divided into four semesters. While preparing cutoff for the IIIT Pune M.Tech course, the authorities will consider examination and admission-related factors. The listed factors will be checked and considered by the authorities while determining the cutoff of IIIT Pune M.Tech - previous years' cutoff trends, difficulty level of exam, total number of qualified candidates, total number of candidates applying for a specific course or institute, number of seats available for admission, etc. After checking all of these factors, the authorities will prepare the GATE cutoff for M.Tech admission.

IIIT Pune BTech M.Tech 2025 has not been released yet. However, if candidates compare the cutoff for the years 2023 and 2024 will find out that the closing rank for the M.Tech courses has been increased and the competition has decreased. Hence, the cutoff trend of M.Tech in CSE showcases a declining trend. Check out the below table to get a clear idea:
