Yes, the cutoff ranks dropped significantly from Round 1 to the final round. For example, CSE dropped from 17,707 to 27,931, and ECE dropped from 23,113 to 38,412 in 2025, offering a wider range for admission as counselling went on!

As a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model institute, IIIT Pune doesnt provide internal fee waivers or concessions for any category. All students, regardless of category, must pay the full fee. Students can though apply for external government scholarships (state or central) for reimbursement.

After you get a confirmed seat, you need to report to the IIIT Pune campus with the required documents such as your JoSAA allotment letter, JEE rank card, Class 10th and 12th mark sheets, and a medical fitness certificate. You would also need to pay the pending fee.

No, you can't. There is no separate application form for IIIT Pune. You must appear for the JEE Main exam conducted by the NTA and then register for the centralised counselling process through the JoSAA portal during the designated window.
