Currently, IIIT Pune has not released the academic calendar for the 2025 batch of M.Tech courses. However, according to the previous batch, the classes for the M.Tech course commenced on 13 Aug 2024. Hence, candidates can anticipate that the M.Tech classes for this year can fall on similar dates from the previous batch.

Yes, IIIT Pune does offer M.Tech courses that too in two specialisations. Additionally, as IIIT is famous for its engineering course, M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is one of the top courses offered at IIIT Pune. The Basic eligibility criteria the Institute requires for admission is candidates must qualify for their BTech degree or equivalent with a minimum of 60%.

JEE Mains dates for session one and session two have been released on the official website of NTA for admission to BTech courses at IIIT Pune. The admission dates have been released, candidates can attend the examination in their chosen session (s). Once the result is announced, they can verify their scores and appear for JoSAA counselling, and in the choice filling select IIIT Pune. Moreover, the admission process usually concludes in the month of June.

Yes, IIIT Pune does offer a BTech course in the Computer Science and Engineering specialisation. To get admission into this specialisation, the admission procedure is the same candidates must complete the basic eligibility criteria (Class 12 in PCM with 75%), and secondary eligibility to gain a good score in JEE Mains. In this specialisation, the core courses include a detailed study of data structures, programming languages, algorithms, and computer networks.

No, IIIT Pune only accepts the scores of JEE Mains for admission to BTech courses. Then, candidates must participate in the JoSAA/ CSAB counselling process post-JEE Main to secure a seat. However, the institute also accepts admission for BTech courses through DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad). Under this scheme, foreign nationals can apply through the centralised DASA portal.

The eligibility criteria to get admission to BTech courses at IIIT Pune is candidates must complete their Class 12 from PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 75%. In addition, for admission to this course, the students are required to appear and secure good scores in JEE Mains, followed by followed by JoSAA/ CSAB Counselling. The institute offers only two specialisations in BTech courses i.e., Electronics and Communication Engineering and BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. Moreover, the institute started awarding the 'Honors' degree to the bright students in both branches.

I2IT Pune offers various scholarship programs for supporting meritorious students wanting to further their studies. The Institute grants merit-based scholarships to students who obtained an aggregate of 90% or more in the 10+2 examination, with annual scholarship amounts ranging between INR 25,000 to INR 50,000. No, it is not possible to get a direct admission in IIIT Pune since the institute admits only through a rigorous process that considers the JEE Main score. The process is centralized counseling done by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). All the students need to clear JEE Main and undergo the counseling procedure for getting the seat in IIIT Pune. Candidates need to have GATE or scores in written test conducted by the institute for admission in MTech courses.
