To work as a public international lawyer you will usually need:
-Qualification as a lawyer in a legal jurisdiction. -Relevant language skills. -Relevant international experience (e. g. an overseas seat as part of a training contract, YPP programme, a traineeship with an intergovernmental body and possibly more experience too. )
-A Masters-level law degree (e. g. LL. M. BCL or MJur) in a relevant area can be helpful, particularly for academic or EU roles, but this can be substituted for by relevant professional experience for those that move later into these areas. To work as a private international lawyer you will usually need:
-Qualification as a lawyer in a legal jurisdiction
-Relevant experience with an international practice area (e. g. relevant seats during your training contract)
-Relevant language skills, if required. You can do LL. M. 1 year programme which useful in research institutes, thinktanks and NGOs working on policy issues as well. Considering that a large number of law schools in India now pay quite well, this is significant. Similarly, requirement of lawyers are thinktanks, NGOs and research bodies have drastically increased over the last few years. These are great career opportunities. LL. M. in commonly offered in Criminal law, Constitutional law, Cyber law, International law, etc. LL. M. - 2 years and LL. M. - 1 year both have same scope, you can save time in 1 year programme. Hi,To be eligible for admission to the undergraduate programs, a candidate must satisfy any one of the following requirements
FA / F. Sc with at least 2nd division (I. e. 495 marks)
O-levels (in at least 5 subjects) and 2 A-levels. High School Diploma and International Baccalaureate (IB) result with at least 2.5 CGPA and equivalence Certificate from IBCC (if you do not meet this requirement meet the admissions officer for individual programmes)
If you do not meet the entrance requirement of a course, or a programmes you can always choose a foundation or a Diploma route. Kindly contact the admissions officer for your pathway. Students awaiting their FA/ F.Sc/A-Level results may apply for admission at IBL. Selected candidates will be granted a provisional admission only, which may be regularized after they have been declared successful and meet the admission requirements of the university. Student terminated from one institute on the basis of poor academic performance or on disciplinary ground will not be eligible to seek admission to any other school of IBL. The admission to the Bachelor Programmes of the University College is decided on the basis of candidates earlier educational achievements and his score in the admission test (where required), which comprises of an English Placement exam and where applicable a basic Mathematics test. There are no special quotas, seats or admission by donations. Nor is there any arbitrary age limit for the applicants.
